Each and every occupant of the large locker room turned and each and every one of their eyes followed as his form entered the area. Bryan had learnt a lot since he had been released from Boris's control. One of the things he had learnt was to only trust those he was close to, his friends. Their eyes remained on his form as he took a seat at an unoccupied bench, his cold, grey orbs slowly lifted as he, without making eye contact, studied his soon to be opponents.
It had been two years since he'd been released by his "friends" from Boris's abusive treatment, going from being treated like a wild animal lab subject to a normal human being wasn't easy for him. So for now he was set missions, perhaps to keep his mind active and to stop him from getting bored, because with mental capabilities like Bryan's as soon as he got bored it was over, everything was destroyed.
He was at a miniature Bey tournament, by order he'd been sent to investigate it, but so far only young kids with a hopeful glimmer in their eyes had graced him with their presence. Bryan had also learnt not to grasp hope, never wish for what you want and never try to unlock your potential, because you will always be disappointed.
As he took a stand he instinctually glared, fingers clutching Falborg, and as he walked the heads turned and the eyes followed his back. His boots sounded thoughout the room, each echo demanding the respect he deserved. Boris had screwed with his head, Boris had tried to mould him and he knew Boris would have eventually tried to destroy him.
Yes, Bryan had learnt a lot since he had been released from Boris's control.
And one of those things was a very important word.
